Sreenath Sreenivasan - "Sree" as he is known - spends his time demystifying technology and explaining it in simple, easy-to-understand terms.

He is a Columbia University journalism professor (and Dean of Students)  and, starting in January 2007, WNBC's tech reporter. 

He previously spent six years as WABC-TV's technology reporter. His "Tech Guru" segments appeared every Thursday and Saturday morning in the New York City area.

He also teaches workshops around the country on using the Internet better and speaks at schools and to parents' groups.

As a freelance writer, his work has been published in The New York Times, Popular Science, BusinessWeek, Time Digital, Rolling Stone, The Earth Times and other publications in the U.S. and India. See clips.
